100kg Rockfibre wired mats are high-density mineral wool insulation mats designed for applications where increased rigidity, fire resistance, and high-temperature performance are required. This density is commonly specified for industrial insulation systems, plant equipment, ducts, and service areas where insulation must remain stable while providing effective acoustic control and thermal protection. All products on this page are 100 kg/m³ wired mats, with thickness selected as a product variant.

Description

What are 100kg Rockfibre Wired Mats?

100kg Rockfibre wired mats are manufactured from stone wool fibres bonded into a flexible mineral wool mat and mechanically reinforced with galvanized wire mesh. As a stone wool product within the broader mineral wool insulation family, these mats are non-combustible and engineered for applications requiring higher density, increased rigidity, and enhanced fire and acoustic performance in industrial environments.

Unlike rigid insulation boards, wired mats are designed to wrap around curved or irregular surfaces such as pipes, ducts, vessels, and plant equipment while maintaining insulation performance and mechanical stability under high-temperature conditions.
